Residential and Small Commercial Elevators

Many homeowners would not think of installing residential elevators in their homes because of the common belief that they are reserved for luxury homes. However, these structures are considered as necessities and not as luxuries by members of the household who are aging and the physically challenged. Moreover, for those who are advancing in their years, the stairs represent a hazard because of the increased possibility of accidental falls. For other members of a household, it is much more convenient and easier to transport heavy things, such as luggage and groceries, if they use residential elevators and it is even healthier for their backs.

The basic reason for installing residential elevators is to allow the elderly and physically disabled to move to the other floors of the home without assistance.
